Tiny Trax Gets a New Patch to Make Single-Player Content Easier

Developer FuturLab is obviously listening to fan feedback, as they have decided that Tiny Trax‘s challenging gameplay can be a bit too much for those first starting out. An update for the PlayStation VR exclusive has been released which lowers the difficulty level for the game’s first cup in order to help any new players achieve a medal more fairly and to make its AI much more forgiving.

In the single-player mode you go up against three opponents, charging around miniature maps in fast-paced gameplay. The title features a tricky turning mechanic in which players have to position their cars at the right angle or their vehicle will screech to a halt. Supposedly its a fun mechanic, however it’s difficult to master and computer opponents apparently have no trouble racing past you while the player is trying to learn the gameplay.

Fortunately with this update, the rather strong AI cars will be nerfed slightly to make the first cup more achievable, which should spur on players to master the controls and battle on to the other cups.

The core mechanics haven’t been altered; you will still need to give Tiny Trax a good amount of time and effort in order to master it, but at least you will be able to get ahead of the competition a little faster.

Tiny Trax is available now for PS VR and a gameplay trailer can be seen showing off Hot Wheels track action.
