Fire Emblem Warriors for Nintendo Switch and 3DS Gets New Trailer Showing Bonding Corrin and Xander

Today Koei Tecmo released a new trailer of its upcoming Musou-meets-Fire Emblem title Fire Emblem Warriors.

The trailer showcases a lovely sibling conversation between female Corrin and Xander from Fire Emblem Fates as they have a heart-to-heart moment.

What we see is actually the game’s bond system, that will involve different heroes to having conversations as their bond level increases. It’s actually the third trailer of this series released by Koei Tecmo, as we recently saw some bonding between Chrom and Marth and more between Ryoma and Chrom. This is actually the first time a female character is involved, and of course, this is Nintendo Switch footage, and the 3DS version won’t look nearly as good.

Incidentally, if the names in the spoken dialogue confuse you, that’s because the original Japanese names are Kamui and Marks, but you should know by now that Nintendo’s localization team loves to be “creative.”

You can check out the video below, and if you want to see more, you can also watch the same bond system in screenshotsanother batch of images, read our hands-on preview from E3 2017, watch the recently-released Japan expo trailer, and a previous gameplay trailer, on top of a large batch of gameplay accompanied by more screenshots, even more gameplay, and a third gameplay video.

The game will will launch on Nintendo Switch and on the 3DS family of systems on September 28th in Japan and in the fall in the west. At the moment no specific release date has been announced for North America and Europe.
