Yoko Taro Talks About Tiny Metal in the Most Yoko Taro Way Possible

When you get NieR: Automata Director Yoko Taro to endorse your game, results can be utterly hilarious, as it happened today with Area 35’s upcoming strategy game Tiny Metal.

Today the developer released a video starring Tiny Metal Director Hiroaki Yura asking Yoko Taro himself about his thoughts on multiple aspects of the game, with the quirky developer praising each, but then mentioning over and over that he has played only for five minutes so he doesn’t really know.

Tiny Metal is defined an “Arcade Wargame, ” but it’s basically a turn-based strategy game inspired by the classic Advance Wars series. It comes with cutesy graphics and tactical depth to boot.

It’s also one of the first games published by Sony Music Entertainment’s new indie label Unties, and yes, it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch.

You can check out the video below. If you want to see more, you can check out a trailer and quite a bit of gameplay.

The game is coming to PS4, PC (via Steam), and Nintendo Switch on December 21st, following a recent delay of about a month.
