Bridge Constructor Portal Receives Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One Release Dates

Headup Games and ClockStone Software surprised many Portal fans last December when they announced and shortly thereafter released Bridge Constructor Portal. It wasn’t the Portal 3 many of us would like, but it is a unique spinoff that is able to stand on its own. DualShockers Staff Writer Tanner Pierce even put the game in his Top 10 Games of 2017 list. Unfortunately, Bridge Constructor Portal only released for PC, iOS, and Android last year.

That will change soon though, as the release dates for both the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One versions of the game were announced today. Bridge Constructor Portal will hit Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on February 28 before releasing on PS4 the next day, March 1.

The game is pretty much what you can infer from the title: a crossover between the Bridge Constructor series and Portal. The goal of each level is to get a vehicle from one side of the screen to the other. To do so, players must build bridges, but in this game, players will also have to use and work around several elements from the Portal series. Series fans can rest easy too, as Ellen McLain still voices GLaDOS in Bridge Constructor Portal.

You can check out a trailer promoting the Nintendo Switch version of the game below. Bridge Constructor Portal is currently available on PC, iOS, and Android, and will release on Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on February 28 before finally launching on PS4 March 1.
