According to EcoFlow, the Power Hat can charge a 4,000mAh smartphone to full capacity in just 3-4 hours. This makes it an ideal accessory for outdoor activities like camping or surviving in harsh environments. The hat’s solar cells are made from a thin and flexible material known as passivated emitter and rear contact (PERC) monocrystalline silicon, providing approximately 12 watts of charging power through USB-A and USB-C connectors located on the underside of the brim. Additionally, the Power Hat is IP65 rated, making it dust-proof and capable of withstanding water jets from any direction.
The Power Hat comes in two size ranges to accommodate different head sizes. The adjustable smaller size ranges from 56-58cm (22-22.8 inches), while the larger size ranges from 59-61cm (23.2-24 inches). With a weight of 370 grams, the hat is designed to be lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. The preorder period for the Power Hat runs until August 31st, with EcoFlow planning to start shipping orders in mid-September.
