After a long wait, Bethesda Game Studios has announced that the highly anticipated ‘next gen’ update for Fallout 4 will be released on April 25, 2024. This update will bring significant improvements to the game and will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 users. The best part? The update will be free for all owners of the original game.
One of the most exciting features of the upcoming update is the introduction of stable 60FPS gameplay and increased resolutions. Players will also have the option to choose between Performance Mode and Quality Mode, allowing them to tailor their gaming experience to their preferences. As part of the ongoing celebrations for the launch of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout TV series, Bethesda is also introducing updates for Fallout Shelter. Players can expect to find six new vault-dwellers, including Lucy and The Ghoul from the show, and participate in new questlines inspired by the Fallout TV journey. Themed weapons and outfits will also be available for players to collect.
