While the update also aimed to fix various bugs within Realms and Minecraft in general, it seems to have caused more problems than it solved. A subsequent update, 1.21.21, was quickly released with the sole purpose of improving the “reliability of connecting to Realms.” Unfortunately, these updates seem to have fallen short of their intended goal.
