Recently, Superman director James Gunn shared a sneak peek of the new Superman costume, giving fans a glimpse of the iconic hero’s updated look. The costume, worn by actor David Corenswet, features a more modern design with subtle textures, a higher neck collar reminiscent of the New 52 Superman costume, and intricate panels on the boots. The most striking feature of the costume is the large S-shield symbol, symbolizing hope and strength. Additionally, the costume opts for a sleeker look by foregoing any muscle padding, allowing Corenswet’s physique to shine through naturally.
In addition to the updated costume, the upcoming Superman movie boasts an impressive cast, with Rachel Brosnahan taking on the role of Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult portraying Lex Luthor, and Skylder Gisonda as Jimmy Olsen. The rest of the ensemble includes well-known actors such as Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Terence Rosemore as Otis, and Maria Gabriela de Faria as Engineer.
