Apex Legends has launched its Inner Beast Collection Event, featuring a new hunting-themed limited-time mode and a variety of new cosmetics. One of the most coveted rewards in this event is Octane’s new Heirloom Weapon, the Octane’s Prototype butterfly knife. In this article, we will explore how players can unlock this exclusive item without breaking the bank.

Players who are not looking to spend real money during the event can still earn a plethora of rewards through the free reward track. By collecting Event Points (EP) through completing challenges, players can unlock character cosmetics, in-game currency, and more. The free reward track also includes 50 Crafting Metals and 16 battle pass stars, allowing players to level up their Breakout battle pass.

For players looking to acquire premium cosmetics, there are 24 cosmetic items available in the Inner Beast Collection. These cosmetics can be obtained through purchasing them with Apex Coins, crafting them with Crafting Metals, or by opening Inner Beast Event Packs. Event Packs cost 700 AC ($7 USD) and contain one random item from the Inner Beast Collection.

To unlock Octane’s new butterfly knife, players can use Crafting Metals to craft Epic-tier items and then purchase the remaining cosmetics through Event Packs. By strategically crafting items and purchasing packs, players can ensure they obtain the Octane’s Prototype Heirloom Set for 16,800 AC ($168 USD) or less.

The Inner Beast Collection Event in Apex Legends offers a range of exciting cosmetics for players to collect. Whether you are looking to earn rewards through the free track or acquire premium cosmetics, there are options available for all types of players. Make sure to participate in the event before it ends on Tuesday, March 19, and happy hunting in the world of Apex Legends.
