Xbox has officially announced its plans for Gamescom 2024, revealing an impressive lineup of over 50 games that will be featured during the event. The show will not only include playable games for attendees to try out, but also special Xbox @ gamescom: Live From the Showfloor Broadcasts for those who are unable to attend in person.

At the Xbox booth, gamers will have the opportunity to get hands-on with a variety of exciting titles such as Age of Mythology: Retold, Ara: History Untold, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, Fallout 76: Milepost Zero, The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, and Towerborne. Additionally, there will be several third-party playable titles available, including Star Wars Outlaws, Space Marine 2, Atomfall, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Squirrel with a Gun, Winter Burrow, and Creatures of Ava.

Exclusive Theatre Presentations

In addition to the playable games, Xbox will be showcasing exclusive theatre presentations of games like Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and the first major expansion of Starfield, Shattered Space. While gamescom trailers typically do not feature major breaking news, they are expected to include new gameplay footage and smaller reveals to keep fans engaged.

Event Details

For those attending Gamescom 2024 in person, the Xbox booth will be open starting at either 9am or 10am CEST on each day of the show, which is scheduled to take place from August 22nd to August 25th, 2024. For remote participants, there will be livestreamed presentations available on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube over the first three days of the event.

On Wednesday, August 21st, 2024, Xbox will host a special live presentation featuring games like STALKER 2, Atomfall, and Age of Mythology: Retold. This will be followed by a Bethesda Mainstream show. The following day, on Thursday, August 22nd, there will be another live show highlighting games such as Star Wars Outlaws, World of Warcraft: The War Within, and Towerborne.
