Bandai Namco recently unveiled the release date for Gundam Breaker 4 in a new “release date trailer”. The game is set to launch locally on August 29th, 2024. The trailer showcases the new features of the game, emphasizing the ability to break, build, and battle like never before. Players will have the opportunity to build their personal Gunpla using parts from a vast collection of kits and explore the deepest customization options ever. Additionally, the trailer highlights the robust and frenetic combat players can expect, along with the new Diorama mode for showing off their builds in stunning detail.

Bandai Namco made the initial announcement of Gundam Breaker 4 during Nintendo’s Partner Showcase. Set to release on the Switch and other platforms in 2024, the game allows players to create their ultimate Gunpla and deploy it across various combat missions. By defeating enemies, acquiring their parts, and equipping new skills, players can enjoy a wide range of customizations. With over 250 base kits to mix and match parts, this installment offers the biggest variety of mobile suits and parts in any Gundam Breaker game so far. In addition, players can collect, pose, and display their creations in the Diorama Mode for added customization options.

Before the official release of Gundam Breaker 4, Bandai Namco has announced closed network tests in Japan for all platforms. Scheduled for March 15th and 17th, the tests will include a visual lobby accommodating up to 24 players, an online multiplayer mode for three units with three quests and three difficulties, as well as the ability to customize 20 different units. A special “Gundam Breaker News Station” broadcast in Japan provided viewers with a sneak peek of the game, showcasing over 25 minutes of gameplay footage. For those interested in seeing the game in action, the broadcast can be watched between 42:32 and 1:09:20 in the video available online.
