LEGO has recently announced the upcoming release of several new additions to its Super Mario line, set to hit stores on 1st August 2024. In addition to the highly anticipated Mario Kart-themed LEGO set slated for next year, the company has revealed three new kits to commemorate Mario Day: The Bowser Express Train, King Boo’s Haunted Mansion, and Battle with Roy at Peach’s Castle. Among the new releases is the LEGO Super Mario The Bowser Express Train toy set (71437), designed for children aged 9 and above. This action-packed playset includes a detailed train, a handcar, 2 stations, a Super Star Block, ? Block, and 6 LEGO Super Mario toy figures – including a Hammer Bro, Boom Boom, 2 Goombas, and 2 Para-Biddybuds. This playset includes a LEGO brick-built princess’s castle model with interactive elements like collapsing walls, a tower, a catapult, a rotating throne, and a garden fountain. Three LEGO Super Mario toy figures are included in the set: Roy (appearing for the first time in a LEGO Super Mario set), a Chain Chomp, and Toad. For an added dimension to gameplay, kids can incorporate a LEGO Mario, Luigi, or Peach figure (sold separately).
