The fake Core i9 14900K came with a warning sticker that the warranty would be void if the chip was taken out of its packaging. While this may have dissuaded some buyers, Safedisk decided to proceed and test the chip. Unsurprisingly, the processor failed to boot up, leading Safedisk to open it up and discover the missing silicon die.
