The speed of the memory, in particular, plays a significant role in determining the actual gaming capabilities of integrated graphics.
Both the 8600G and 8700G APUs are based on the RDNA 3 architecture, which represents a significant leap forward from the Vega based integrated graphics found in the 5000-series APUs. This architectural improvement suggests that the new chips will offer significantly higher performance than their predecessors. Moreover, the 8600G features six Zen 4 cores, while the 8700G boasts eight. On paper, this positions both APUs as versatile and capable all-rounders.
