Publisher Spike Chunsoft has recently announced the release of two brand-new visual novels based on the popular anime and manga series ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets’. The visual novels, titled ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets – Memories of a Quintessential Summer’ and ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets – Five Memories Spent With You’, are set to launch on the Switch on 23rd May. Players will have the option to purchase each game individually for £28.99 / £34.99, or as a part of a Double Pack for £49.99 / $59.99.

Embark on an Adventure with the Quintuplets

Developed and localized by MAGES, both visual novels will allow players to take on the role of the protagonist, Futaro, as they embark on an adventure with the quintuplets. Players will have the opportunity to interact with characters from the series and build relationships with their favorite heroines. The quintuplets are fully voiced by renowned Japanese voice actors, adding an authentic touch to the gameplay experience. Additionally, both games will feature original illustrations showcasing the characters in new outfits and scenarios.

While the visual novels are likely to appeal mainly to fans of the anime/manga series, ‘Five Memories Spent With You’ promises a “totally new” game scenario, making it an enticing choice for both existing fans and newcomers to the series. The game scenario offers a fresh perspective on the quintuplets’ story, providing players with an opportunity to delve deeper into the source material.

‘The Quintessential Quintuplets – Memories of a Quintessential Summer’ transports players to a summer vacation on the quintuplets’ private island. What was meant to be a brief getaway turns into a thrilling two-week survival adventure due to a sudden storm. The game features new illustrations specifically created for the game, showcasing the heroines in various settings such as swimsuits and wedding dresses.

In ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets – Five Memories Spent With You’, players accompany the quintuplets on a graduation trip to Okinawa. The protagonist, Futaro, aims to express his feelings to the girl he cares for before their long-distance relationship begins after graduation. The game allows players to confess their feelings to any of the quintuplets, adding an element of choice and romance to the gameplay experience.

Both visual novels are currently available for pre-purchase on the regional Switch eShop, with a special 10% discount offered to those who purchase the games before 30th May. This limited-time offer provides players with the opportunity to enjoy the quintuplets’ adventures at a discounted price. Additionally, fans can look forward to the upcoming release of ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime’ side-scrolling RPG in August, offering a different anime gaming experience.
